Bernice: Nominated for aacta

Bernice is a short comedy directed by Madeleine Wighton. It has been nominated for Best Short Film at the AACTA Awards.

Film synopsis:

A tenacious vigilante in a pink balaclava stops at nothing to burglarise homes and sprinkle goofy love wherever she tiptoes. Until she’s beaten at her own game…

The score features pop synths, spunky brass, and eclectic rhythms. It features a title theme song, ‘Theivin’ Steven’, co-written with Demi Louise, who was also a producer on the film.

Bernice has also won awards at Cinefestoz, the Inner West Film Fest, Sydney Web Fest, and Enlighten Film Festival.
